Elders Cheer for China Through Sign Language Dance

release time:2020-04-28

After the outbreak of COVID-19, the elders of the center followed the call of the country and contributed to the countrys fight against the epidemic by Stay At Home.

In the past month, more than 50 elders in the health care center practiced a "don't give up" sign language dance to cheer for the national war against the epidemic.

The average age of this group of "dancers" is as high as 83 years old, and the oldest is 92 years old, and some of them suffer from cognitive impairment. The seemingly simple dance is not an easy task for the elderly. They need to practice repeatedly every day to overcome the inconvenience of movement and easy to forget. It takes more than a month of hard work to condense the wonderful performance of two and a half minutes.
